A few moments from Tulum - We had so much fun exploring on our bikes and stopping by tons of little restaurants & visiting different hotels - there is just so much to see & do there!

Some favourites:

Papaya Playa Project  - This is a super cool hotel, but even if you don't stay here you can sometimes get access to the beach & restaurant which has a great view! They also have parties & Full Moon Parties quite often, so it is a great spot to check out if you want to have fun into the night.

The Beach Hotel - A hotel but again, even if you are not staying, it is a perfect spot to have a bite! (Really yummy fish tacos) Also a nice spot to hang out on a hammock and enjoy the ocean views.

Hartwood - The food here was delicious, and the space was super cool. The menu is written in Spanish but the waiters can speak English if you don't speak the language - They only accept cash though, so make sure to pack your peso's!

Tunich - This is also a hotel, but we enjoyed a really delicious breakfast here (it is right on the main strip so perfect if you are staying close by) they have really excellent coffee and delicious, large portions for breakfast. They also have a super cute house kitty!

Burrito Amor - I am usually a fan of the roadside stalls for tacos, but if you are looking for an easy bite with an English menu, it is super yummy here (they also have great Coconut Coffee) and lots of smoothies and juice to keep you feeling healthy & ready for a day on the beach.

Mayan Ruins - The ruins are really close to town (we rode our bikes) and are super cool to see - They are right on the ocean and when the tide is out, the beach is open to swim in, so pack your suit! They do get super super busy, however, with busloads of people coming in from surrounding areas, and they can be really hot, so get there early for the best experience. They also close at 5pm, so don't plan a sunset visit because they will be closed!

Last time I was in Tulum I decided to visit the Fairmont Mayakoba Hotel which is an hour drive from the city - It is a great way to end your trip if you are heading back to fly out of Cancun as the Mayakoba is totally different from Tulum, and the Fairmont is such a luxurious treat! We stayed at The Fairmont Mayakoba for our last two nights and went into full relaxation getting massages and enjoying our rooftop pool & their beautiful beach - It is a must visit! We even got to have a Chef's Dinner where Executive Chef Demian Cruz prepared local pumpkin (so delicious) and local snapper fish (with a ton of garlic butter sauce, divine) I would recommend getting the Chef's Table, it was so fun to be able to talk to the Chef and learn more about local produce.

Even more coming from Tulum, stay tuned!
