I grew up snowboarding, and now am lucky enough to live just an hour and a half from one of the best mountains in the world, Whistler - So when my girlfriends Kiara & Allison had the opportunity to head to Whistler for a Girls' Getaway I was ecstatic!

We were able to borrow a mountain ready vehicle, the Ford Explorer Platinum from the Ford Dealership in Vancouver (They have heated seats with massagers and the best sound system!) and we were on our way. We stopped to take in the breathtaking waterfall at Brandy Wine Falls (a must if you drive from Vancouver) and then it was right to the mountain.

We checked in to The Westin Resort & Spa (right in the heart of the village, it was ideal and so easy to get everywhere we needed to go) and were off to Superfly Ziplines to zoom through the tree tops. On our second day we started off at one of my favourite spots, The Scandinave Spa.  They just recently renovated to include a new cold dip pool along with a new sauna & sun room and sun deck - so beautiful! It is a must do when visiting Whistler. Feeling truly relaxed & rejuvenated, it was finally time to head out on the hill - It was the best day!

After snowboarding all day we headed for Apres at a really cute new restaurant, Bar Oso (perfect for sharing, they have an amazing selection of tapas) before heading to Bearfoot Bistro where we of course had to go into the Vodka Room donning our Canada Goose Jackets to taste vodka in the -32C room! They also have a super cool wine cellar that is worth a peek as well.

We had a very relaxed morning the next day enjoying some breakfast in bed before heading back to Vancouver, making sure to stop in Squamish along the way for one last look at the beautiful surroundings.

The trip was so much fun, we made the best memories and I am looking forward to making this an annual tradition!
