From Arizona we drove to the boarder at San Diego and into Baja California...and suddenly we were back by the ocean and into the heat!

We stayed at the most magical hotel, Cuatro Cuatros in Ensenada. They have fourteen tents nestled in their wine vineyard, and it is most definitely glamping - the tents were so luxurious! With running water, electricity & a full shower and bathroom and even wifi, it was the perfect spot to relax and explore Baja California.

We explored the town of Ensenada as well during our stay and discovered the best surf beach and some really tasty restaurants...a few of my favourites:

San Miguel -Great surf beach right in the heart of Ensenada, offering consistent waves. Not a surfer? The beach is really pretty with black sand, and offers a great spot to look back to the city and see all of the beautiful homes dotting the hills.

El Parian - Delicious food & super cute decor 

Hogaza Hogaza - The coolest bakery right on the main drag of the city, perfect when you are craving something sweet!

La Guerre Rense - A must visit food truck that delivers amazing seafood & often sells out by the late afternoon, so make sure to stop here first! A favourite of Anthony Bourdain's, it definitely does not disappoint.
