Scottsdale Diary

I've always wanted to drive through the desert, so I was so excited when we hopped in the car from Las Vegas, stopped at the Grand Canyon, and then continued onto Scottsdale. The Sonoran Desert is actually unlike anything I've ever seen, and is so lush! There were so many plants and bushes along the way, and of course, cacti. It was just beautiful.

We were lucky enough to stay at the breathtaking Four Seasons Scottsdale, and while we arrived at night, when we woke up, it felt like we had arrived in a completely different world! The resort is set into the natural landscape, and the earth tone buildings are perfect in the desert setting. The Four Seasons resorts always have the most amazing rooms, and our stay at the Four Seasons Scottsdale was especially wonderful because we had a patio overlooking Pinnacle Peak and my favourite part of our stay was waking up with a big cup of coffee and looking out at the view (their Talavera Restaurant has the same view which makes for a fun dinner)

We spent our two days at The Four Seasons Scottsdale relaxing poolside, hiking around the grounds, snacking (Proof is casual & has delicious breakfast options) and of course, visiting the spa - it was the perfect way to unwind & relax, especially after all of that driving.  We were so spoiled, it was a wonderful way to start our adventure in Arizona.

I lived in this Lulu*s dress during my trip -I love the bright colours, and it is lightweight but has long sleeves, so is great for going day to night while out and about.

More coming up from Arizona & Mexico this week, stay tuned!
