Oahu can keep you busy - Between the beaches, the hikes, and everything in between, there is just so much to do & see.

A few more of my favourite spots from this trip was the Koko Head Trail Hike...You walk up an old train track path, but where the view really gets breathtaking is when you hike back down the side of the mountain towards the ocean...it is beautiful!

I also loved surfing at the beach in Kailua - The waves were pretty flat while we were visiting (really uncommon during December), but we still managed to catch a few waves.

We drove to Honolulu for the afternoon to visit the city, and had the most delicious breakfast at The Royal Hawaiian (their pink pancakes are worth the trip alone!) and soaked up some sunshine at the amazing pool at the Surfjack (it has a super cool store and coffee shop as well, definitely worth a stop if you are visiting Honolulu.)

Hawaii is one of my most favourite places to travel...there is something just so magical about it - The energy there is happy and relaxed, and the beautiful landscape is just breathtaking. I will definitely be back soon!
