Arizona Diary.

I absolutely love Arizona - the landscape is breathtaking, there is so much to see! After road tripping through last October I was always trying to get back, so I was so excited to have the chance to visit again in April.

I headed to Scottsdale and stayed at one of my favourite resorts, The Four Seasons Scottsdale . It is nestled right into the hill and you get a killer view of the Sonoran desert out of every room (which is so cool to see at night!) and Pinnacle Peak - a must visit for sure. They also have the yummiest food at their breakfast restaurant Proof as well as the dinner restaurant, Talavera (the view from the patio is insane!) It was such a treat to be able to stay with them.

We did a road trip to Sedona to check out the breathtaking Red Rock State Park and Montezuma Castle - both so worth the drive if you are staying in Scottsdale - they are super cool! You can hike around in the Red Rock area as well for some pretty spectacular views of the desert. It is also a great place to watch the sunset!

We also headed out on a Hot Air Balloon adventure with Hot Air Expeditions, it was so cool to soar above the desert (we got to about 3000 feet) and to see all of the other balloons in the sky around us - such an unforgettable experience.

For our last night in Scottsdale we stayed at The Phoenician which had such a beautiful view of the valley and had so many pools to sit and relax beside, it was heaven! I also had the chance to take a Mermaid Class  with AquaMermaid Swimming School and it was so much fun! It is an aquafit class that you get to do wearing a fin & tail -it was certainly a once in a lifetime experience! I indulged in a massage at their Spa and I highly recommend the Essential Healing Massage, I felt so relaxed after mine. From Arizona we headed to L.A, photos coming up next!
