Whistler Adventure.
I feel so lucky to live in beautiful British Columbia, and especially in Vancouver, because Whistler is only an hour and a half away, and once you get to Whistler it feels like you are a million miles away from everything - it is so serene and beautiful and magical, I love making the trip as often as I can!
I grew up snowboarding, so it is always such a treat to get a chance to go snowboarding and feel the sunshine on your face and just spend a wonderful day outside getting so much fresh air.
We headed to Whistler (even the drive is breathtaking - seeing where the mountains covered in snow meet the ocean - Seriously, I highly recommend anyone who hasn't explored Vancouver & Whistler to make the trip, it is out of this world!) for a two day adventure, staying at the amazing Nita Lake Lodge for our two nights which is nestled right beside the lake, making for a breathtaking view with your morning cup of coffee!
We headed up the mountain both days snowboarding as many runs as we could fit in (the weather was amazing with blue skies & fresh powder, heaven! My favourite run was Cloud 9 on 7th Heaven) and after a full day on the hill, enjoyed such a delicious dinner at Aura Restaurant at Nita Lake Lodge. It was just so lovely to walk around the village, as well - And have a beer on the patio after a long day on the mountain.
