Apres In The Air.

I am Canadian but had never before been to Montreal & Ottawa, so I was extra excited when I was invited on the adventure of a lifetime with Air Canada & The Fairmont to visit the Fairmont Properties on the East Coast - and to travel there in style with Air Canada Jetz.

We were whisked away from New York City on a Private Air Canada Jet - And it was so cozy inside!! We flew to Ottawa and it was actually the most fun I have ever had on a flight! The seats were huge and sipping on champagne while snacking on Canadian snacks was certainly unforgettable.

We first arrived at The Fairmont Chateau Laurier which is nestled right beside the Parliament Buildings (right downtown)...such a perfect spot! The hotel itself looks like a castle, so beautiful. The next morning we headed to The Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello, and it looked like we had walked into a Winter Wonderland!

The hotel was so cozy, made from wood with a huge six sided fireplace in the middle it was the perfect luxe chalet. We spent the entire day playing and exploring outside (they are right beside the river which makes for a beautiful setting!) first by having soup by a huge bonfire, then dogsledding! It was my first time, and it was such an amazing experience. 

The next day we visited The Fairmont Tremblant Hotel which is located right on the ski resort, Mont Tremblant. It looked like a movie! The village was so beautiful with all different colour buildings, and you could walk right out of the hotel and onto the ski lifts - it was so cool.

We headed up the mountain on the gondola and explored through the trees heavy with snow - the sun was sparkling on the winter white snow - it was seriously so breathtaking!

It was a getaway to remember, with food and accommodation and travel that was beyond! I usually stick to beach getaways, but these hotels & destinations are definitely worth bundling up for - it was unforgettable.
